Had a look at the giant lilies, cardiocrinum giganteum in the park's gardens this afternoon. They will be in flower for a few more days and worth having a look at for NT members, quite expensive otherwise
Surprised to see at least two nests still occupied by young and being visited by feeding parents. Is it usual for House Martins to be this late? I would assume this must be a second or even third brood for this season?
