Focalpoint's Current COVID Policy

We have this week seen the legal restrictions on certain COVID measures lifted by the English Government. Given that our shop unit has no windows or additional ventilation we have decided to continue with our current COVID protocols for the safety of staff and customers. The appointment system remains to ensure that only one staff member and one (group) of customers are in the shop at any one time. We are asking that masks continue to be used when inside the shop but as always when testing optics outside this is not necessary. We will continue to wear masks and/or a visor for the customers protection. We are continuing to sanitise the whole premises between customers, especially all touch points including the PDQ credit card machine. All optics will continue to be sanitised between customers too and most will remain boxed on the shelf rather than in cabinets as browsing is still not possible.

We have been blown away so far by our customers responses this week, all have arrived and worn masks without us asking and all continue to ring and book appointments. We are taking all measures for all our safety and thank everyone for their continued support. When we can use the outside space I (The Doc) especially love to sit in the sun and chat like I always have done and to meet fellow birders and swap stories, so pop out and see us, we are still here thanks to all of you, cheers biggrin
