Dowels Brook 09:00-11:30

5 Marsh Tit, Green Woodpecker, 15 Fieldfare, 2 Redwing, Firecrest heard only, Goldcrest, Nuthatch, Common Buzzard. Lesser Spotted Woodpecker apparently still here, but we didn't see any.

Failed to see the Beavers in their enclosure but good evidence of activity.

Single Hawfinch in Jubilee Gardens in nearby Bewdley yesterday afternoon.

Along the disused railway line above Dowles Brook in a brief visit yesterday afternoon.

2, possibly 4 Pied Flycatcher with a pair showing very well by the carved bench. Also 2 Willow Warbler, 4 Chiffchaff, 3 Nuthatch and mating Common Buzzard.

Jubilee Gardens in Bewdley is very close to the forest. It has been getting over 20 Hawfinch in the past few weeks. Visiting today there were 4 at 14:20 at pretty close quarters.

Around Dowles Brook yesterday afternoon: 

Spotted Flycatcher by the mill. Family of 4 Marsh Tit. Also Dipper, 4 Blackcap, 3 Chiffchaff, 3 Willow Warbler, Jay.

Pearl Bordered Fritillary along the butterfly trsil.
