Water Rail, one showing well at reedbed on the south side of the reservoir, best to view it from the dam side, also 3 wigeon, 3 Shoveler, 2 Willow Tit, 4 Bullfinch, Reed Bunting,.
Red Crested Pochard still here, on reservoir near island, also Pochard, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Great Spotted Woodpecker,50+ Fieldfare, 5 Lesser Redpoll, 5 Bullfinch,.
Two good sightings today, an Hobby flew over the reservoir at 7. 50am, heading east, and a Spotted Flycatcher was in the nature reserve, also Grey Wagtail and 4 Willow Tits.
Single Common Tern on raft Mute swan 3 adult + 1 juv Tufted Duck 6 Great Crested Grebe 3 Coot plenty with juvs Canada Geese 42 Swift 15+ Sand Martin 4 Pochard M Stock Dove near visitor centre

3 Mute Swans - 1 cygnet still 2 Great Crested Grebes - down to 2 young 6 Tufted Ducks 1 Kestrel - carrying a vole 1 Buzzard 1 Little Ringed Plover - flyover 2 Common Terns 1 Stock Dove 2 Sand Martins 4 House Martins 5 Swallows 2 Swifts 1 Willow Tit 1 Bullfinch - plus young 2 Siskins - and 3 youngsters closely in tow, locally bred, a few conifers about?
Swans with one young, Great Crested Grebes 3 young, pair of Common Tern, Great Spotted Woodpecker, 20 Sand Martin, 10+ Swallow, 2 House Martin,Reed Warbler, Willow Tit, 30+ House Sparrow, 2 Bullfinch.
