Red Crested Pochard still here, on reservoir near island, also Pochard, Sparrowhawk, Kestrel, Great Spotted Woodpecker,50+ Fieldfare, 5 Lesser Redpoll, 5 Bullfinch,.

Pochard, Little Grebe, Willow Tit, 4 Siskin, 3 Bullfinch.

Pink footed Geese, 2 flocks 160, at 8 30am, and 60 at 8 40am, both east. male Gadwall, 22 Moorhen, 150 Coot, 5 Siskin, 3 Bullfinch.

16/10 - mid-morning.

7 Wigeon, c140 Coot, 1 Little Grebe & 2 Cormorant.
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Sparrowhawk & 4 Lesser Redpoll.

4 Gadwall (2m,2f) on 9/10.

A late Common Sandpiper flying around the reservoir, + Little Grebe, and 7 Bullfinch, also 4 Willow Tit together near Linnyshaw Garden Centre,.

3 Gadwall, Little Grebe, 3 Willow Tit,.

3 Gadwall, 1 male 2 female.

Two good sightings today, an Hobby flew over the reservoir at 7. 50am, heading east, and a Spotted Flycatcher was in the nature reserve, also Grey Wagtail and 4 Willow Tits.

2 Green Sandpipers.

Common Terns, 2 + 2 young, Garden Warbler, family of 6 Bullfinch.

Little Grebe, 4 Willow Tits.

Lesser Whitethroat, On Linnyshaw Moss near Garden Centre.

Sedge Warbler, 2 Bullfinch, 2 Reed Bunting.

Wheatear on Linnyshaw Moss, also around, 3 Common Whitethroat, Willow Tit, 6 Greenfinch, 2 Bullfinch.

30 Waxwings at visitor centre, + Swallow and 4 Sand Martin, Pink footed Goose still here.

Pink footed Goose still here, 40 Redwing, 20 Fieldfare, 1 Willow Tit, 4 Redpoll, 6 Bullfinch.

12th February.

Single Pink-footed Goose down on reservoir with other waterfowl late morning. Also 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull amongst the Black Headed Gulls.

In surrounding woodland - 2 Willow Tits, 1 Treecreeper, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Coal Tit, 2 Bullfinch and 1 Jay.
