Unfortunately it looks like the Shrike may have been predated. Very sad!

birders have been specifically asked not to feed the shrike anymore, it comes close enough without feeding it anyway!

It perched on Mark Eaton's finger yesterday, hoping for a mealworm. Might take you up on it Ian, have a heavy week this week with RBBP at Old Moor today, Bickershaw Rucks walkover tomorrow and GMEU biodiversity conference on Thursday - can I ring you Thurs evg if car not full? Get mealworms in!

Hi Ian

My wife and I have just had a weekend in Lincolnshire - the Shrike is extremely tame - it was sat on me camera lens at one point - there`s also a Glaucous Gull at Donna Nook, in the seal colony in front of the Wardens hut with lots of Snow Bunting and Twite, 10 minutes away from the Shrike - hope they`re still there for you...
