Found my first Brambling of the winter, dead at the side of the road in Woodley this afternoon, presumably hit by a car on Werneth Road, just down from Greave. tears.gif

A Brambling in my garden this morning was a nice surprise. Mean while in Atherton Woods - 1 Green Woodpecker, 2 Great Spotted, Several Nuthatch, Goldcrest and tit species. 1 Buzzard & 1 Tawny Owl.

8 Grey Partridge on Bee Fold Lane, several Yellowhammer and Reed Bunting. A Pochard on Beefold Pond was unusual !!

Kingfisher on Beefold Lane Pond & on the stream on Millers Lane.

All the best - Kane
