10 million for a sub 1km cycle path down the east end Silver Lane Pools.....to help people from Culcheth that want to get to Birchwood Technology Park get to an M62 Roundabout with a backwards connection to Gorse Covert or a walk / cycle along a 50mph dual Carriageway?
By the time you have left Culcheth to get onto this walk / cycleway you've already done half the A road between the two (which I remember wasn't great on a bike in the 1990s and probably isn't any better now) the world really has gone mad.
