Had to take Cath to the Black Redstart this morning. Showed well in the same area as Monday flying around the Verbena. A GM tick achieved

Black Redstart still showing today at 14.00ish on the allotment at the picnic table in front of the polythene greenhouse just beyond the small stack of tyres.

Black Redstart still present this morning at the south-east corner of Highfield Country Park; along Nelstrop Road North, around the north end of the Marbury Farm Community Growing Project, just before the small stables. Best viewing from by the manure piles (what3words ///taker.narrow.vast) Elusive but shows on fence posts and garden furniture occasionally.
A small southerly passage of Meadow Pipit, 1 Jay, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker and a good flock of at least 34 House Sparrow around the manure pile
