Well done again to the LOS volunteers ,going on the spit Wednesday

And doing the massive task of strimming the spit area and finished to half way with

The help of one of the wardens.. This group have changed the whole outlook in the north bank reserve, most are well beyond retirement age ,and they go on every Wednesday to do everything from litter picking to blocking

Off areas to stop illegal fishing , cleaning hides, and general upkeep of the whole

Reserve area . We all owe them our gratitude as without them we would have

No reserve area in my opinion.  10 years ago it was going down hill fast, but

Now it feels like a happier, safer place with no litter, graffiti etc all down

To these few hardy committed souls Thanks to all of them , it's made me come
