A quick note re the talks, if you are quick you could catch Paul Hackett's Phonescoping talk at 10.30am, then there's Barry Probin's informative talk on Whixall Moss at 11.30am and finally Justin Carr's Digiscoping with Micro four thirds cameras at 1.30pm.
Just a quick reminder to all that we have a second day of our fair. Yesterday ws a busy day with lots of visitors to all the stalls and talks. Today we have a few more spaces for the talks and can accomodate lots more folk into the event. So pop along and say hello and get a warm welcome, have a cuppa and a birdy chat.
The event runs from 10am-4.30-5pm and we look forward to seeing lots more GM Forum members today!
To celebrate being an optics retailer in Cheshire for 40 Years this year Focalpoint Optics if hosting a weekend event to which everyone will be warmly welcomed. The evnt will be based around Birding, Nature and Astronomy and experts will be on hand to help with all queries. It will take place on a weekend in April, namely Saturday 23rd April and Sunday 24th April, with both days running from 10am until 5pm. So pop the date in your diary
Lots of our suppliers will be present, such as Swarovski, Zeiss, Opticron, Hawke, Kowa, Celestron, Viking, Manfrotto amd more, with experts on hand to answer your queries and hopefully sort any problems out for you. There will be talks and demonstrations and refreshments for all. This will be held a stone's throw from our Antrobus Showroom and Antrobus Village Hall CW9 6LB.
Due to pre-bookings being high and an expectation of high numbers of visitors we are asking anyone interested to register for the event, this can be done on our website at https://www.focalpointopticsltd.com/events . Entry will be by ticket only and this ticket entitles the purchaser to refreshments. So don't just turn up or you may be disappointed. The showroom will be closed on these days too, so to visit us the event is the only possibility for these 2 days.
