Saturday 9th of January (early doors) saw me having a stroll around Etherow Country Park - I hope this is a useful review 

All the usual suspects were present

On the pools

Large numbers of Black-headed Gulls

Large numbers of Canada Geese

10 or so Greylag Geese

Coot - numerous

Moorhens - numerous

Mallard Ducks

2 x pairs of Muscovy Ducks

1 x pair white "Farm"Geese

approx 20 x pairs of Mandarin Ducks

2 x pairs of Canada x Greylag hybrids

5 x pairs of Tufted Ducks

11 x Cormorants

9 x Goosander (3 x male and 6 x female) - some pics attached

2 x grey heron right at the end by the wier

In the sensory garden

Numerous woodlands feeding

Blue Tit

Great Tit

Coal Tit

Approx 20 x Robins

Nuthatches - constantly coming and going

Blackbirds
