So far this am. 4 (four) Pied Wagtail, and the pair of Blue Tit still visiting early doors.

Again no new species over the week. Highlights from today though. Pairs , again the Robin pair were in attendance this morning along with the Blue Tits again. Also a pair of Herring Gull over on the Church chimney engaging in a choking display, if they nest in the chimney is another matter. Will keep an eye on.

No new species over the week. Highlights from this morning though, a pair of Blue Tit, dive bombing the Goldfinch on the feeders, a not so common species in my garden, so always welcome. Still getting regular visits by one of the Robins, presumably the male (purely due to it's behaviour, has previously been seen gifting & singing and teeters, where as the female seems just to be content to sit still and receive the gifts). Would suggest that they have set up a nest over on the vicarage grounds, but keeping fingers crossed that they may nest in our garden for a subsequent later brood.

Third day on the run the pair of Robin visiting the garden. Whilst the Mrs was doing the shopping. She did a kind thing and came back with a Robin nesting box. In place after I finished work. One of the Robins has already checked the new box out. Will have to wait and see if there's any more interest taken on the morrow.

Grey Wagtail was a welcome addition to the current Lockdown list this morning. With currently working from home. I'd thought to have seen more, but bit of a bird draught at the moment.

Only new birds were a pair of Collard Dove this afternoon & 3 Canada Goose this morning.

Of note today though, a pair of Wood Pigeon, gifting followed by copulation, 30+ Goldfinch this morning raiding the feeders and now 2 Squirrel taking pear placed on the back fence. Gulls on the Church roof maxing out at, 22 Common, 14 Black-headed & 2 Herring.

Slim pickings.

Robin seems to be a regular plus the Goldfinch which topped at 12, the Wood Pigeon is doing a Stella job of seeing off Erroll and Beryl the ferals. Only the pair of Blackbirds, so unsure to where the juvenile goes. Carrion Crow still the 6 on the Church with 1 Black-headed & 6 Common Gulls.

Did have a visit from a Squirrel though.

3 Magpie.

6 Carrion Crow, 24 Black-headed Gull & 2 Common Gull on the Church roof.

Back to Lockdown garden sightings. Small courtyard garden at the back facing North, now overlooking a new housing estate and their back gardens also. Ash tree at the bottom with feeders. Predominantly Goldfinch (20+) ravaging the feeders, with regular visits from Blackbird, Robin, Wood pigeon and Magpie. Dunnock occasionally and Blue Tits starting to make appearance again. The front faces South overlooking a Church, which is good for Gulls. Lately mostly Black-headed and Common Gull with the odd Lesser black-backed and Herring Gull.
