The current designation of 3 Tiers of severity for restrictions due to COVID-19 infections are currently not having a massive effect on how you can use the Focalpoint service. We are in Cheshire West which is a Tier 2 area, as is (for now) Greater Manchester. If Greater Manchester goes into Tier 3 restrictions then you are still able to travel to us and have any usual service that we provide. The travel limitations in Tier 3 are advisory, so if you feel safe to travel to us then you still can without breaking the law. We have full COVID safe protocols still in place, the premises and all contents are sanitised regularly for your protection and the unit is fogged and all surfaces and equipment cleaned between each and every customer. We do now require mask use in the shop and we wear PPE for your safety too. We are still running on an appointment only basis, which can be booked over the phone or online from the links on our website. We can only see just one person at a time unless they are with a family member(s) or support bubble member, to fully comply with the current recommendations for us in Tier 2.

We hope to still be here for all throughout the coming months as we know how our hobby is beneficial to mental health and having working optics is all part of that. We hope that you all stay safe and well and look forward to normality whenever that returns.
