RE: Focalpoint Bird Fair Week

To make sure that all the equipment is fully sanitised we are running an appointment-only system for some of the Manufacturer Days this week. The Zeiss one will require this so call 01925730399 to ensure you can just turn up and test without any waiting smile Alternatively book an appointment online on our website smile

I hope to pop in late am to chat to any visitors so hopefully see you tomorrow biggrin

With National and Local Birdfairs Cancelled here at Focalpoint we realise that our customers still need to get 'Hands-on' with optics to make sure they are choosing the right one for them, before purchase. So withthis in mind we have set up a week when customers can pop along to our showroom and meet a representative of an optics company who can demonstrate optics and let the customer try and compare what they are interested in. This is really important currently as two manufacturers have launched new models. Swarovski have launched the NL Pure range of Binoculars for a review on the Focalpoint Website see here :

https://www.focalpointopticsltd.com/post/swarovski-have-only-gone-and-made-their-best-binoculars-yet

Zeiss are launching the 32mm objective range of their popular SF Binoculars (review soon on Focalpoint Website) too.

The week long event starts on Sunday 16th August with the Zeiss launch of the 8x32 and 10x32 SF Binoculars.

On Monday 17th August Viking Optics will be here and Rob our knowledgable Rep will be on hand to help.

On Tuesday 18th August it's the Swarovski Day, Neil the main Rep at Swarovski will be bringing the Swaro NL Pure Binoculars, it's a rare opportunity to test this completely innovative product. Booking is necessary as demand is already very high.

On Wednesday 19th August the ever popular Opticron range will be available and Chris, the Opticron expert will be on hand to fleld all queries as well as demo any equipment that you want to test.

On Thursday 20th August John the Kowa Rep will be bringing lots of Kowa equipment to try and there are lots of special offers with packages and freebies on certain purchases, so don't miss this one!

We may yet arrange extra days, so watch this space!!

All the events start at our usual opening time of 10am, it is worth giving the shop a call well in advance to see if an appointment is needed. For most events this isn't anticipated but demand is growing and so to be Covid secure appointments may have to be instigated. Don't miss outr on this unique event, all are welcome and even if you want to come every day we will be happy to see you. The event has no entry cahrge like a traditional Bird Fair, so why not come along.

I am furloughed at present but hope to be there most days, and since I won't be working I am allowed to spend all my time chatting birds, wildlife, twitching, whatever takes our fancy!! If I had been working our rules are now that folk can't just drop in for a chat, so this is great that I can do this during that week.

We all look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. Pop along and mention that you saw this post, I am sure there will be a few give aways and mentioning the GM Forums will help biggrin
