not much to report last month or so tho' locklist did creep to 36 with Swallow seen
Carrion Crows fledged 2 young eventually

Good Butterfly sightings yesterday and today however with Red Admirals and Small Totoiseshells new this year and also Comma, Large and Small Whites

My moribund lockdown list inched to 35 this week with a high flying f Sparrowhawk over , annoying the local crows.

Lots of new fledglings about, young Dunnocks being fed by one of the parent birds a highlight.

Blackcap and Tawny Owl increased Lockdown List to 31 this week

Fledged birds seen include Blackbirds, Starling and Woodpigeon

Horse Chestnut trees in the cemetery flowering nicely, always impressive this time of year.

Grey Heron low over edged Coronavirus Count to 29 this weekend.

Pair of Carrion Crows nesting in tall pine in Cemetery opposite very aggressive in defending their area, one having a real go at a Grey Squirrel this morning, The fuss when a couple of Magpies landed in their tree was very loud.

Song Thrush and Rook the only additions to the LockDown List over the last few days 28 ssp
Nice to watch our local Mistle Thrushes collecting prodigous amounts of nesting material, up to 3 adults .

Willow Warblers today new species for the garden list
First fledged House Sparrows seen
Good nos of butterflies have included Holly Blues, Peacocks, Brimstone and Comma over last day or two

Pied Wagtail (24) means I am pushing the quarter century for the COVIDLIST in the garden

Of interest today, a f Blackbird literally wading in our pond hoovering up small tadpoles

A few Peacoclk butterflies also about.

Great idea for these troubled times

My unremarkable suburban garden has a small pond and a couple of trees My best ever birds include Redstart and Waxwing so, you never know....

I overlook school playing fields to the front. St Marys Church Cemetery is also visible.
