I had to drive in today round a Road Closed barrier, this is the central white-lining day we expected. Since the machinery was there when I drove past (I actually got them to move out of the way for me!!) I expect the job to be done relatievly quickly. Give a call maybe before setting off & we will try to ascertain what stage they are at.
Early update on the Bentley's Farm Lane roadworks for today Weds 22nd Nov:
Taext from Yvonne to say that the signs are still up saying road closed but that she just drove through and accessed Marbury House Farm & the Focalpoint Shop Unit OK. They appear to be doing white-lining on the road which gives us hope that they are nearly finished
Latest from Yvonne today is that the lane is open and the sop accessible from both the A559 or A49 ends. They still haven't finished resurfacing but traffic can get through today. Looks like at least 2-3 more days work may be required so still ring us please before coming out
Had a call from Yvonne to say that Bentley's Farm Lane is closed from the A559 Northwich Road end, but access to Marbury House Farm and the Focalpoint Shop Unit is possible off the A49. We are told that diversions are in place and signed, I hope so. You can still call 01925 730399 if you need any firther info. I will update whenever possib;e over the next few days
Since the last post signs have gone up but detailing erroneous dates. The latest we have is that there may be a closure or partial closure starting tomorrow, 16th November, for between 2 and 6 days. Please give a call beforehand if you are making a journey of any length to come and see us. Whoever is in the shop on that day will be able to bring you up to speed with the latest situation.
Please call 01925 730399 (10am-4pm may be best in case we are delayed by any blockages), if you do not get an answer we may be with customers so please try a few times before assuming that no answer means that we couldn't get in.
Just an advance warning that Bentley's Farm Lane (where Focalpoint is) is scheduled for closure for resurfacing next week. Current plans are for it starting on Tuesday, weather permitting, but we know no further details, I'll post if & when we get any Monday will have no disruption so if a matter is urgent then that may be the best day to call, I would still give a quick phonecall first.
We have posted the following advice on Facebook:PLEASE TELEPHONE THE STORE BEFORE TRAVELLING (01925 730399), IF NO REPLY PLEASE LEAVE A MESSAGE ON ANSWERPHONE WITH CONTACT PHONE NUMBER & I WILL CALL YOU BACK, IF YOU DO NOT RECEIVE A CALL BACK WITHIN AN HOUR PLEASE ASSUME THE SHOP IS NOT ACCESSIBLE ON THAT PARTICULAR DAY AND TRY AGAIN ANOTHER DAY. THANK YOU FOR YOUR UNDERSTANDING. IF ROAD WORKS ARE CANCELLED WE WILL POST THE INFORMATION HERE.
