I'm considering selling two pairs of my bins to re-invest in another pair.
The ones I'm thinking of selling are a 8x32 Nikon HG. They show some signs of wear on the body (a bit of gold paint wearing off the badge and wrinkling on the rubber eyecups - these can be replaced quite cheaply) but optically they are very, very good. They would come with the original case, strap and box. These were once ranked as the best 8x32 binoculars on the market by a review site. The second is a pair of Leica 10x42 BAs. They have just been cleaned and re-armoured by Leica so look like new. They also come with original box, case, rainguard and strap plus a newer neoprene strap. Again optically they are very, very good. These Leica's hold a special place in my heart as they were my first 'alphas' and they have seen some fantastic birds. If I'm honest I'm reluctant to part with them.
I would need to sell both to be able to afford the new ones I want so am testing the water for interest, that's all at the moment - and if I cant sell both I wont sell either.
I would be asking £375 for the Nikons and £550 for the Leicas.
Please let me know by PM if you might be interested.
