New Book - The Birds Of Spurn

Andy Roadhouse - Spurn Regular and Assistant Warden for many years - has finally had his book, Birds of Spurn, published. I collected mine at the launch event yesterday and have only had chance for a quick skim through but it is, frankly, brilliant. If you've ever been then I'd recommend getting your hands on a copy. It's not cheap - about £45 I think, but that gets you 700 pages of brilliant info about the place and the people plus full species accounts, stunning artwork and great photos. All profits are going to Spurn Bird Observatory. You can purchase via the Spurn Bird Observatory web shop, or if you're Birdfair bound, they have a stand where I believe they will be selling it.
