Treecreeper 1 juv.calling and being fed by an adult.
Willow Tit 1 singing and calling.

Today very quiet on the pool but still plenty of Warblers.
8 Willow Warbler
4 Chiffchaff
3 Blackcap
6 Reed Bunting
Swift and Sand Martins
Moorhen new brood

Little Grebe 7
Sand Martin 30+...over 3 hours.
Swallow 2
Mute Swan 2
Tufted Duck 54

plus Chiffchaffs, Willow Warblers and Blackcaps.

20+ Fieldfare (still around) on the Bassell site near the old orchard this afternoon.

Sunday 3rd April morning visit
Willow warbler singing first thing but not picked up again
Chiffchaff at leat two singing
Sand Martin 3 over pool
Redshank heard and seen flying over going south
Wheatear two males on site
Lapwing 10+
Buzzard at least 4 but probably more over the reserve and the moss
Raven overhead mobbing Buzzard at 11-35
Reed bunting 5 males and 1 female on reserve
Little grebe minimum of 4 on pool
Gadwall 3 drake and 1 duck
Mute swan 2
Grey heron 2
Skylark 3
Song thrush 2
Kestrel 1 field f4
