Urgent - Proposed Cheshire Badger Cull

There have been proposals to start a Badger cull in several counties, including Cheshire:

https://www.gov.uk/government/consultations/bovine-tb-comment-on-a-badger-control-licence-application-or-expression-of-interest

Natural England (ironic name) is inviting comments until 16 March (yes, just 5 days away) - see the links in that document for guidance, govt policies & contacting Defra. Note the low publicity of this proposal

Cheshire Wilflife Trust are concerned: http://www.cheshirewildlifetrust.org.uk/badgers-and-btb

There is an online campaign via "38 degrees": https://you.38degrees.org.uk/petitions/stop-the-badger-cull-in-cheshire-1

The Guardian has written an article, with useful links: http://www.theguardian.com/environment/2016/feb/19/badger-cull-linked-to-rise-in-bovine-tb-cases

The BBC has covered the subject: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-35611979

Cheshire East has issued a notice: http://www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/council_and_democracy/council_information/consultations/consultations.aspx

So, if you don't want badgers to be killed & think innoculating cattle is a better way of managing bovine TB , then you know what to do ...
