Opticron DBA VHD Binoculars

The NEW Opticron DBA VHD Bins are now in stock, this is the new model, just launched as the flagship binocular in the Opticron range. They come in 8x42 and 10x42 and we have both in stock. They are open hinge and optically are fabulous. The following specification is provided by Opticron:

"Smaller, Lighter, Brighter, Sharper", the new DBA VHD takes the Opticron design maxim to a new level.

The all new VHD optical system offers brighter, sharper images compared to its predecessor in a similarly compact and lightweight package.

Designed around and built for the professional and enthusiast looking for 8/10x42 quality but preferring the size, weight and feel of a smaller binocular, the DBA VHD offers an unrivalled combination of performance, comfort and ergonomics for under £600. 100% made in Japan. 30 year guarantee.

Product features include:

  • Compact, lightweight roof prism design
  • Dual hinge, single axis body
  • Textured rubber armouring
  • Nitrogen gas filled waterproof (5m depth)
  • VHD optical system incorporating a high quality ED glass objective system, phase corrected prisms with Oasis prism coating S-type multi-coating to all air/glass surfaces
  • Flat field vision
  • Long eyerelief for spectacle wearers
  • Multi-stage twist type retractable eyecups
  • 500° turn smooth action wide wheel focusing

DBA VHD binoculars are supplied complete in soft canvas case with rainguard, neoprene bungee strap and rubber objective lens covers.

The RRP of the 8x42 is £579 and the 10x42 £589. You can have a look at Opticron's video of them here: http://www.opticron.co.uk/Pages/dba_vhd.html

Come along and test them out, I think you will be pleasantly surprised if you haven't ever considered a non-european model of bins before and if you are thinking of upgrading to a better model from an older or lower spec pair then these are ideal without breaking the bank smile
