The Duck Specialist Group, part of Wetlands International, are planning on undertaking a data collection of the sex ratio of pochard flocks, to try to better understand this species' worrying decline. Guessing that several on here will already know of the International Waterbird Census (although I didn't, I have to admit) that this is running in conjunction with, but hopefully highlighting this species will get them additional valuable data.
