RE: Swarovski In-Store Day

Still dealing with the serious illness situation, lots of folk on here know by now. But finally got round to sorting the last 2 Mystery Bird Competitions from the in store days!!

The Swarovski Competition was very competitive, and I am impressed by the birding knowledge shown in what was one of the hardest competitions yet. The winner shaded it just, and was a Manchester Birder again. The top two spots were close to getting 100% correct and only separated by half a point. In second position was Rob Creek and in first place Bolton Birder Shaun Wells. Shaun wins the Swarovski Cleaning Kit worth over £30. All entrants, as usual, will be getting a Focalpoint Voucher in the post for money off future purchases. The quiz sheets are also returned to see which (if any) answers the entrants got wrong smile

Well done again everyone who entered. We currently have a Mystery Bird Quiz running in store, so if you op in be sure to enter that one smile

I forgot to ask, did you get round to finding a winner for the Mystery Bird Quiz?

Thanks for today Paul and your other staff too.
Glad I got the chance to try out the equipment before buying rather than taking a chance. Very pleased with the Acuter scope and the tripod, and my mate is also pleased with his scope too. Don't forget to let me know when those binoculars come in. Wouldn't mind a try out of those!
Cheers
Rob
