Following on from the May 2014 birdwatching cruise at Salford Quays and along the Manchester Ship canal, Salford City Council and the Greater Manchester Local Record Centre are running our first winter cruise which will follow more or less the same route as in spring, going past Pomona Dock.

Whilst we expect the temperature to be lower than in May, there are plenty of seats downstairs in the cabin for those who don't wish to brave the elements on the top deck!

The boat will set off from the Lowry footbridge at 8am on Saturday 17th January and return by 11am. Full details can be found on the GMLRC website GM Wildlife
