Weather Forecasting

Thanks for this, Craig. I like the format. Be interesting to see how accurate their hour-by-hour is, compared to my Met Office phone app. Also a hill walker, I find nothing is as good as "MWIS" for the hills http://www.mwis.org.uk/home.asp
.... but I'm sure you'll know that one already.

I've been using this site for the past couple of years after a recommendation from someone in the Scottish Highlands who does a lot of hill walking. No site is perfect of course, but this site is better than any I've found and I'd recommend it to anyone.

Just found this link on a site used by hill walkers. As a hill walker myself i know the weather is just as important to them as it is to birders, and this site comes with good recommendations. Best bit is it covers all of Europe and has an excellent long range forecast - useful if you're planning a trip to the east coast for e.g. You need to make sure the language is set to English.
