Denzell Gardens is a park in Trafford. Formerly grounds and gardens to a Victorian pile it has other fields attached. The house is private but the grounds are a popular local park with a active local friends of group. The reason for the visit was passing I had noticed some big evergreen trees that warranted further investigation. There is a memorial to Trafford Council head gardener and it could have been him that made this a county important site for trees of the pines and cypress types. It took a bit to ID many of them( And there must be much more) but present was weymouth pine pinus strobus, Chamaecyparis pisifera Sawara Cypress, Chamaecyparis obtusa hinoki cypress, sawara cypress 'squarrosa' ,chamaecyparis pisifera sawara cypress 'plumose, Chamaecyparis lawsoniana Lawson Cyprus, Chamaecyparis lawsoniana 'Fletcheri', ' thujopsis dolabrata hiba, western red cedar thuja plicata, and at least one Sequoia sempervirens coast redwood, .
