RE: Antrobus

Have only just seen this post. I live locally and keep an eye on the field in question , which does flood up reasonably regularly due to the volume of water coming off the M56 and into the Gale brook , although this year does seem exceptional . ( I've actually purchased the field just behind it and created some 'scrapes ' and new planting etc etc ) .
Lapwing counts this morning were 330 , with a passing Shelduck and a Little Egret .

anyone local to the area might like to check out the area around Reed Lane (where it meets Barber's Lane), between Antrobus and Appleton Thorn, one of the fields has flooded and currently resembles a reservoir! When we passed it this morning there were masses of gulls along with a few wagtails and a Wheatear, there could have been more there but I didn't have time to check it out properly,
