Wildlife at the Shop

Just a quickie to say that at the moment we have had a few sightings worth noting from the Shop window whilst showing Scopes & Bins to customers. Today I have been watching a Spotted Flycatcher (or perhaps a pair) collecting food and taking it back to a nest smile Always a brilliant species to see and to have one from the window at work, great!! I have also found that a Robin has eggs in the nestbox near our Unit that a customer gave to us several years ago & had never been used up until now, another great find smile

Two baby Grey Squirrels (not everyone's cup of tea I know!) are providing entertainment & something to focus on beneath the bird feeding station on a daily basis. Also yesterday myself & a customer watched a Fox visit the Rabbit warren just over the field from our Unit and take a baby Rabbit. She then bounced back across the field, presumably taking it back for her cubs that she is feeding.
