Getting my Friday bacon butty this morning, I got chatting with the butty van couple and they know I do conservation work. They described seeing birds in their Worsley garden...like blue tits but smaller and with a bright red crest.
I asked if it could have been orangey rather than red but they were adamant it was bright red
