Greater Manchester seeks a new BTO Breeding Bird Survey Organiser

This position has now been filled with thanks to the new BBS coordinator, Antony Wainwright. His full details can be found on the 'Who's Who' page on the website.

There are also quite a few vacant surveys available for county birders, so please take a look at the Bird Surveys page on the website too smile.

Whilst I'm still looking for a long-term replacement, I have agreed to take over the organisation of the Breeding Bird Survey in 2014.

Officially, the handover will take place on 31st December but if you have any queries about next year's BBS please get in touch with me. If you have any questions relating to this last season's survey please contact Judith as usual.

Thanks Ian for posting here for those who don't always look at the main website.

I should have added that anyone interested in the job should have some experience of the Breeding Bird Survey and be a BTO member.

If you need to know more, feel free to e-mail or phone for a chat.
