Back them up quickly Joe, before they change it again! I hope they don't remove the 1 terabyte of storage though, that's pretty darn good for free.

Most things that are free have some sort of payback, on the free accounts ,they are going to be blasted with adverts, in the next few months and pop ups, just like free anti spyware programs that put more into your computer than they take out. I am always wary when its free on the internet, theres always some reason why, also they are wanting people to upload full res shots, these will then always be open to someone in the world using them without permission from the owner of the image.
cheers John

Swings and roundabouts I see it, i've been meaning to upgrade my Flickr to Pro so as I can retrieve my shots I lost when my hard drive went and with the new upgrade i've got all my high res originals back which for free is awesome. So i'd be inclined to keep the dodgy layout!

Its bloomin horrendous, years of uploading and sorting my Flickr to make it easy to look at and they mess it up overnight without asking or telling anyone, its a real shame as the load times will mean less people each day will bother to look.
Ben
That fix is not a fix really, its the same screen you get if you just click edit in your own photo stream, and unfortunately it will not be like that for others looking at your Flickr, they will see just your front page stream , and its annoying I cannot look at someone else's Flickr, look at the thumbnails and comment on the ones I like and ignore the ones I don't, now its just a wall of everyone's pictures, its a sad day for serious photographers who use Flickr to show their pictures. that's the problem with websites if the hosts sell to another group everything changes, and you can do nothing about it :(

Hi Pete
I have to agree with you. Maybe given time I'll get used to it, but at the moment it looks horribly cluttered and 'designed', rather than just a site for one's photos.
In the meantime if you put ?details=1 after your photostream http, it seems to return it to the old configuration.
Mine is below - works for me!
