RE: Recommendations for lightweight tripod

I got a nice light-weight Manfrotto tripod which is pretty compact for £40 reduced from £50 at Argos a couple of weeks ago. Much cheaper thanI had seen it elsewhere.

With the ED50 you could even use a lightweight Monopod, and a good one costs about £40. Most Decent Lightweight Tripods are not cheap, and carbon tripods can cost a few hundred pounds. In focus at Martin Mere do a cheapish lightweight Carbon Travel Tripod . :)

Hi, I've just bought a nikon ED50 for taking with me on walks and on holiday as I'm sick of lugging the swarovski 80 round. Could anyone recommend a good lightweight tripod to complement the little scope.
Idealy not costing the earth.

Regards Oli
