I have full sympathy with you. I've been house bound for 6 weeks with a leg in plaster and can't walk anywhere . Not heard a chiff chaff or a willow warbler. Not seen a swallow. Even the garden is producing very little now. Another 6 weeks to go on crutches after Wednesday.........I'm totalled bored and frustrated especially when reading of all sightings in GM. Roll on!!

Puts my bit of flu into perspective John. Good luck for a speedy recovery. Sounds like your garden is currently a similar type of desert to my own, sadly.

Reports of new arrivals are coming in from all over the county. I'm sure my own local patch (Rhodes Lodges / Alkrington Woods) is buzzing & I've had a viral infection for about 10 days - so no walks down to the woods for me, for the foreseeable future.no. So let's have a garden watch instead. Fine except that, after a while, blackbirds, wood pigeons & blue tits lose their appeal! No blackcaps for me, I'm afraid.
Flu (not 'man', but the real deal), I hate you!!

Sorry for the rant & if anybody else on here is house bound or bed bound, you have my total sympathy.

Rhodes Lodges is probably not buzzing, if it's any consolation, Lawson ;) (judging by my visits there!)
