Lovely walk yesterday (25/02/18) round Esthwaite Water, calling in at Hawkshead. Stunning views of 3 Mandarin Ducks and 2 White Fronted Geese with a large flock of Canada Geese. Also of note, Fieldfare, Goldeneye, Tufted Ducks with Common Buzzards soaring over head.

Mon 2nd July- evening walk on Latterbarrow and surrounding forest.
3 Woodcock roding over forest area below Latterbarrow. Including 2 birds flying round together (seen on 2 occasions) Not seen or heard or this behaviour before.
