1 Great Crested Grebe
3 Cormorants
1 Grey Heron
33 Mallards
23 Black-headed Gulls
2 House Martins
1 Kingfisher, my last bird of the day, giving great views looking down on the stretch of overflow water behind the waterworks, from the path between the Black Bull and the reservoir. It was perching on the side and diving into the water.

42 Lesser Black-backed Gulls (all passed over in a five minute period)

1 Stock Dove (resident all year near or on the viaduct, regular on railings by the rail track)
1 Kingfisher
1 Great Spotted Woodpecker
1 House Martin
6 Swallows
2 Chiffchaffs
Lots of Goldcrests
2 Nuthatches
1 Jay
2 Magpies
2 Carrion Crows
12 Starlings
Numerous Chaffinches
3 Greenfinches
2 Siskins
Other species present :- Wren, Dunnock, Robin, Long-tailed Tit, Coal Tit, Blue Tit, Great Tit.
