spent a pleasant 5mins watching 2 grey squirrels in trees, not everybodies cup of tea but their acrobatics and branch leaping are pretty amazing at times.

Weasel carrying what looked like a mouse ran across the road to nowhere,2 squirrel in trees,unidentified butterfly quite high could only make shape not colour.
a first for me, grey squirrel swimming from island to bank near car park at fir tree flash, can't recall ever seeing one swim before al though i was aware they were capable swimmers,
@17-20 2 weasel running back and forth across the new road, Yesterday evening a large caterpillar was on path around diggle flash,pretty sure it was a drinker moth caterpillar.
Morning dog walk 5 common blue butterfly, several speckled wood and white butterfly, plenty of very small blue damselfly look like a fresh hatch, several small red damselfly.

quite a few Cinnabar Moth Caterpillar, as Mike's post earlier this week lots of Alder Leaf Beetle (both larvae & beetle), noticed these larvae 2 years ago, but until Mike's post I didn't know what they were.
On site on Monday (Southern half) I noticed lots of grey alder were being devoured - looks like alder leaf beetle, which was once thought extinct apparently!
morning dog walk good numbers of butterfly and dragon/damselfly, including speckled wood, small tortoiseshell, meadow brown, large white,1 comma and 1 red admiral, various dragonfly including 2 smallish red ones. 1 dead fieldmouse on path, 1 tiger striped caterpillar ( cinnabar ?)
good numbers of butterfly mainly meadow brown and gatekeeper with a quite a few speckled wood, plenty blue damselfly and a few broad bodied chaser, loads of rabbit this morning.
2 six spot burnets moths this afternoon with a good selection of butterfly, speckled wood, small and large white, peacock, gatekeeper,2 red admiral, loads of meadow brown, several blue damselfly,
am walk 3 broad bodied chasers plus 1 very green dragonfly can't find anything to match on google ? pm walk what i think was a fox moth, 3 common field grasshopper showing well,
3 six spot burnet and 1 cinnabar moth, several small white, small tortoiseshell and large white butterfly, plenty of meadow brown, plenty of blue damselfly and a couple of chasers i think broad- bodied.
4 black caterpillar i think peacock ? 3 speckled wood butterfly, several small tortoiseshell and plenty of meadow brown, blue damselfly and several small frogs around diggle flash.
