Thanks John. I made some enquiries with LCE a week or so ago; however, the scope is not the newer version of the TBS (which I understand is optically better) . I might still take a punt on it, but wanted to see whether anyone on the forum might have one they would be willing to part with.
I would be very interested in hearing from anyone who might be willing to part with an Optolyth TBS 80 HD scope. This is an angled scope with Flourite coating on the objective lens. I know Optolyth have produced a number of these scopes over the years; however, I am most interested in one of the newer models (which has a two-tone green body and the words HD Flourite printed in orange on the tripod collar). I recently tried out one of these scopes and was impressed by the image, but unfortunately I wasn't quick enough and the scope was snapped up.
