RE: Eagle owl??

Just an opinion but it really could be lots of things and surely there's nothing much there to go on? Take your pick for me, what's more likely

I had a call on Sunday from my brother in law he was travelling between Macclesfield and Disley when he saw a bird of prey i lot bigger than a Buzzard (has seen plenty) more like a Eagle. Now for the interesting bit he saw the same bird 15 mins later about 6 miles away if Higher Poynton landing in a field. I thought maybe a falconer but quiet a distance to cover in the time. Threre are numerous reports of Eagle owls now breeding.Any ideas?
