My neighbour called to tell me that there was a 'grouse' on her fence at about 10.30 this morning. When I rushed round to look I was startled to see not a grouse but a large, handsome cock pheasant. This sighting was on Parkdale Avenue, Audenshaw, about 500 yards away from the reservoirs. I have photographs to verify it.
