Birds are already nest building on the River Sett at New Mills. South Manchester Ringing Group will be visiting the River Tame upstream of Stalybridge starting next week, weather permitting, for year 5 of the colour ringing, nest recording and Retrapping Adults for Survival project. Your Dipper sightings will be valued as usual.
