Hello all, thought I'd give first refusal to my fellow birders on here - having bought a second hand Nikon RAII Spotting Scope I have the Nikon adapters for digiscoping, boxed in very good condition and with the original instructions [I just can't get the results with digiscoping that I'd like but wanted the scope for Richmond Bank!]
The adapters are the SSA - screws onto any non zoom eyepiece and F/S CP9XX which is the adapter for Nikon Coolpix 900 series, 4500, 4300, 5000 and 800 series only.
Now the unfortunate bit... this is for the Nikon RAII only and won't work with the RAIII or the newest scopes and Nikon don't sell any cameras currently that will work with this adapter. So you need an RAII and a second hand camera if you don't already have one. That said this was a very popular set up with a Coolpix 4500 a few years ago.
Happy for you to try before you buy.
Price - not a clue make me an offer of around £20 for the pair?
