A female/juvenile Black Redstart was stood on a stone cattle-pen at Hurst farm, between Ringley and Whitefield at 9 am, bird then flew to the farm buildings, but i could'nt find it again. Turn off the A667 Kearsley to Whitefield road at old hall lane, across from stand golf course, and park at the top of copper lane, walk down copper lane and turn left towards the farm, the cattle-pen is about 100 yards south of the farm, past a sign for hurst wood.
