We've very much enjoyed the daily updates concerning your Osprey at Dover Basin (a location I have yet to visit), but the new photos in the gallery were just mindblowing!
Looking at them last night was almost as good as being there, (well not quite, obviously, but you know what I mean).

When birds like this (and the Dotterel of the other week) turn up and provide so much pleasure to birders, there're generally also a few of the non birding public who suddenly get some insight into what birding's all about and that's all to the good.

I'm not able to get down there presently, and have to sensibly ration my visits, but it must have been some event this last week, - and May's not over yet!!
