Quick visit this morning.
Landscaping and renovation work being carried in and around the pond (for next week) meant little bird activity - 1 Moorhen and 2 Mallard.
Around rest of parkland were usual tits, finches, robins, wrens and dunnocks.

Only addition to previous visit were 2 Collared Doves and single House Sparrow.

A very vocal Grey Wagtail on the stream. Elsewhere Bullfinch, Jay, Goldfinch, Tit flocks, nothing special.

Again the best sighting was non-birdy. At least 1 Migrant Hawker on the pool (see Manchester Wildlife website).

Cheers, John
