yep, defo dont tell insurance companies you bird watch or any excuse to get out of it, it is quite sad that i sometimes see more birds on the way to a site than when i actually get there biggrin.gif

Starling swarming at Denton Golf course (Audenshaw Reservoirs) caused my kids to say rude words once when I was driving along the M60 in rush hour biggrin.gif Apparently birding & cars don't mix wink.gif
PS don't tell the insurers otherwise they will make up a 'hobbies' category and put birders on the dangerous list!

Dangerous Driving..............

i have a bad habit that i must break before i crash, is it only me or do we all bird watch while driving?

i actually almost forgot i was driving today while i was trying to indentify a passing bird, i was not thinking about driving at all, i was actually thinking "Damn i wish my binoculars were not in the boot" i dont think driving down the road looking while through binoculars is a good idea, i am sure i am not alone here?

Maybe this topic could also be under John Ts topic "Are all birders mad"
