Male sparrowhawk in my garden in Clifton today. He swooped through the garden around 8am then returned at 2pm and perched on my neighbours shed for around 20 minutes.

16 Goldfinches on my feeders this morning

I was sitting in my back garden watching a juvenile dunnock foraging
amongst the vegetables when it decided to fly into my kitchen .It was
safely caught and released. A quarter of an hour later it was back amongst
the vegetables .

Yes, quite normal for Collared Doves to start this early. Am always interested in nests built on structures such as satellite dishes, security lights (it would be illegal to disturb them once they were sitting). They are liable to get predated by crows and magpies though.

2 collard doves mating in my garden today is this normal at this time of year
