Glad you like your ED50 John. I bought one from the same place a year ago with the Zoom. Great scope. Bought a 20xWide last week from the same place.

Have you any other scope?

Cheers

looked through one at in focus, when i was buying my nikon ed50 the other week ,and the nikon with the 27 wide angle eyepeice blew it away. The nikon was twice as bright, and much sharper.Think the nikons about £150 more than the GS52.Also i cannot understand why anyone would need a 12-36 zoom eyepeice as you would only ever use it at 25+,and above 30 the image was dark and impossible to get sharp.smile.gif

Has anyone used or got the new opticron as I am thinking about getting a new scope as I am looking for a good lightweight scope or any recommendations
