Until I saw my photo in this article I didn't realise what a heavy toll birding with Messrs Rigby, Chorley and Passant had taken. I immediately checked into a health spa.

I thank God that hardly anyone who graces this website knows who I am, or what I look like - or could that make it worse?? I hope not to find out.

P.S. I am not a woman

P.P.S. Anyone but the elephant man will be acceptable (I know I'm safe as you've already used Marty Feldman).

Brilliant stuff! Who is that being me then? I was always rubbish at pub quiz photos. Had a good chat with Geronimo/Sitting Bull at Chorlton WP yesterday.

think his name is David Suchet Tim but what worries me about the picture selection is that my six year old once and for all knows where wally is now and spent most of the last two days in the delight that wally is a birdwatcher like him!! I think as a mark of respect for the work that Ian put in to the article all those who had the honour of being published change their avatar to match their "TRUE" persona!

Now that I've stopped splitting my sides biggrin.gif and climbed back onto my chair, I have to say that I'm delighted to see that you have chosen a photo of someone considerably better-looking than me smile.gif. However, I'm not sure about the red fleece - I'm sure I'd be attacked by angry Robins and Grouse.

Now you've started, you'll have to finish the job - I can't wait to see the rest.

Very very funny indeed. Best picture has got to be Phil Rhodes, if you know him you will know whybiggrin.gif As Paul Cliff would say "quality".

I look forward to reading your book about Hilda Ogden, Paulwink.gif

Why no women birders Mr Christamas asks, the excellent small print (please note)
at the top of the article covers it all.

A perfect article and in truth I think the picture chosen for me makes me look better.biggrin.gif

Keep up the madness and

Keep birding

does anybody else find it slightly amusing how the forum censors rude words even when they are part of another word? It points out the rude word more than hides it.

Hats off to you Ian. That's one of the funniest things I've seen in a while. The likeness between Pete berry and Mick Hucknall is something I've never noticed before, nor your likeness to Bradd Pitt.........

Why no women birders, Ian? I'm sure someone could suggest a suitable doppelganger.
btw, hope Angelina got the kids to bed early.

For example I never would have noticed that weight-watchers contained the word tw*t if it wasn't for the censorship. And Dave Broome's "sn*ggering" post from the other day... no.gif
