had 22 walking around Watergrove yesterday and many more being reported on the Wildlife Forum. Seems to be bringing in some other migrants with Silver Y moths and Hummingbird Hawkmoths being seen in greater number too (not in county yet but wont be long till they are).
You can follow their progress in Greater Manchester by clicking the link below or going to the Latest Sightings forum from www.manchesterwildlife.com
Not strictly birds...but found when doing TTV...for Dave Winnard really. There has been the largest influx of Painted Lady butterflies ever into the UK (eg 18K over Scolt Head Norfolk recently) I had 2 on my Billinge TTV this morning SD50F (one in GMC, one in Merseyside) and with SE winds I suspect we can expect a lot more.
