Over the last 2 months there's been 1 calling late at night in the Wash Lane area of Bury on and off.

spotted a tawny owl with a single chick asleep in a tree this morning the chick was as big as the adult and only had a bit of down left on it .The owls must of laid there eggs early this year ????maybe they know we are in for a good summer
